BVCG Summer Challenge: Creativity with a Purpose

Join us this July and August for a meaningful and inspiring creative journey! The BVCG Summer Challenge is all about combining artistic expression with heartfelt purpose.

What to Expect:

• Bi-weekly eBulletins featuring a unique card and envelope style
• Creative prompts using repurposed materials you already have at home
• Your mission: Create two card/envelopes per style—that’s 10 beautiful sets by summer’s end!

Make a Difference:

In early fall, we’ll begin collecting these heartfelt creations to send to Canadian Armed Forces personnel, bringing them a touch of appreciation and holiday cheer. Our Americans, out-of-town members and subscribers—check below for details on how you can participate!

Not a Member Yet?

No worries! This challenge is a great way for non-members to engage, connect with our vibrant community, and perhaps even discover a newfound passion for calligraphy and design.

Participation of out-of-town members is possible:

• For Canadian members, send your cards to our snail mail address: Bow Valley Calligraphy Guild, PO Box 1647, Station M, Calgary, AB, T2P 2L7. Cards received before October 22 will be delivered to our service men and women before Christmas 2025.
