Trust the Process IV- In- person Workshop

Trust the Process is entering its fourth year, and you’re invited to join Tara Hayden for an inspiring eight‑month immersive workshop experience!

Event Dates & Time:

When: First Wednesday of every month from October 2026 to May 2027 (eight sessions)

Dates: October 7, November 4, December 2, January 6, February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5

Time: 9 AM – 12 PM

Workshop Description:

Join us for a monthly three‑hour creative retreat designed to help you slow down, explore, and create without pressure. This experiential class focuses entirely on process over product—echoing Shaun McNiff’s reminder that “the process knows where it needs to go.”

Guided by artist and certified Holding Space Practitioner Tara Hayden, each session offers gentle structure, inspiring prompts, and plenty of room for experimentation. You might explore painting, art journaling, papercraft, or add lettering and calligraphy as inspiration arises.

This class is all about the act of creating—not producing a finished artwork—and is truly open to everyone. No experience needed. All are welcome.

Supply List:

A supply list will be provided before each month’s experience.

Registration Fees:

Members: $250

Non-members: $270

Maximum of 20 participants.

Registration opens:

Members: April 1, 2026

Non-members: April 8, 2026

Check back on the registration date and a Register button will appear here. For non-members, a button to "Sign up without becoming a member" will appear after clicking Register on April 8th.

Note: We understand that not everyone will be able to attend all eight sessions. If you are sick, we need you to please stay home. You may be travelling or have something come up at the last minute. Tara will be sharing her detailed teaching notes so you can still work on the projects. We will also be setting up a class Padlet to share our creative explorations with each other.

Important Notes:

Fees are nonrefundable unless before the first class your spot is filled from a wait list. BVCG reserves the right to cancel any workshop if there are not sufficient registrations, in which case you will receive a refund of workshop fees.

When paying by credit card, our software provider Yapla covers the service charge of 3.9%, so that the BVCG receives the full workshop fee. In doing so, they allow members to donate to Yapla, to support their work as a non-profit organization helping other non-profits. Watch for the purple "Modify" link at the bottom of the screen at the Payment step. Click on "Modify" to delete the donation or change the amount. Yapla has been great to work with and is a Canadian company.
