About the Instructor:

Maxie Peña first fell in love with the pointed pen in 2016. She started with Copperplate and Modern Calligraphy. After a couple of years, she felt that her script was missing something—until she discovered Engrosser’s Script. Learning this script and its rules allowed her to refine her pointed pen skills and take it to the next level. Her eye and hand were further trained through courses from Nina Tran and Connie Chen. Maxie earned her Engrosser’s Script Certificate of Proficiency from IAMPETH in June 2023 and Certificate of Excellence in June 2024.
