‘Trust the Process’ is going into its third year!  

Consider this your invitation to join us in taking three hours for yourself to have a relaxed, creative experience with little focus on the outcome.  This is a truly experiential class with a focus on process over product.  As Shaun McNiff says: ‘the process knows where it needs to go’.  

A once monthly class, Tara offers instruction and guidance in a well-structured class with a pleasing flow and plenty of time for experimentation and introspection. As a certified Holding Space Practitioner and artist, Tara provides room for each participant to drop into this creative space with some beautiful inspiration and suggestions for a creative experience each month. Participants take inspiration from the offerings and makes it their own. Creativity bounds!

As is previous years, this is definitely a process orientated class. It's about the act of creation rather than producing a piece of artwork to hang on your wall. This may include some painting, art journalling, and papercraft with an invitation to add lettering/calligraphy as you feel inspired.

Saying that, this class is for EVERYONE!  No experience or calligraphic experience is necessary.  All are welcome…

This class occurs the first Wednesday of each month for eight months. This time span provides you with the time and space to ‘Trust the Process’ between classes.

Supplies: A supply list will also be provided for each month’s experience.

Cost is $250.

When paying by credit card, our software provider Yapla covers the service charge of 3.9%, so that the BVCG receives the full workshop fee. In doing so, they allow members to donate to Yapla, to support their work as a non-profit organization helping other non-profits. Watch for the purple "Modify" link at the bottom of the screen at the Payment step. Click on "Modify" to delete the donation or change the amount. Yapla has been great to work with and is a Canadian company.

There are no refunds unless BVCG cancels the workshop.

Note: We understand that not everyone will be able to attend all eight sessions. If you are sick, we need you to please stay home. You may be travelling or have something come up at the last minute. Tara will be sharing her detailed teaching notes so you can still work on the projects. We will also be setting up a class Padlet to share our creative explorations with each other.
