Procreate is a digital art application designed for the iPad and Apple Pencil.  The BVCG Procreate Club was established in the fall of 2022, and the past three years have been devoted to learning Procreate. The BVCG Procreate Club will be starting its fourth year on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

The focus for 2025-2026 will be on creating and sharing Procreate hand lettering and calligraphy based on monthly prompts. Three of the monthly prompts will be from the BVCG Galleria. Some months may have a handout explaining one or more Procreate or iPadOS features.

The BVCG Procreate Club meets via ZOOM on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. except for December 2025 and June 2026.  The 2025-2026 meeting dates are:

• September 17
• October 15
• November 19
• January 21
• February 18
• March 18
• April 15
• May 20

The BVCG Procreate Club is open, at no cost, to any BVCG Member who:

• has an iPad, an Apple Pencil and Procreate;
• has a basic understanding and familiarity with Procreate;
• has access to Google Drive;
• wants to use Procreate to create digital hand lettering and calligraphy;
• would like to connect with Procreate users;
• would benefit from a prompt and a requirement to create something in Procreate every month; and
• wants to improve their Procreate skills and have fun doing so.
